Dec. 98 – Oct. 99: The Coffee Grind Café (Vancouver): Coffee and Baked goods emporium. Duties included making and serving espresso-based beverages, serving customers, dealing with suppliers and corporate clients, and delivering catered orders.

Dec. 97 – Sept. 98: Self employed as a concert promoter and events planner in the Nelson area.

Jul. 97 – Dec. 97: David Thompson Student Society (Nelson): Managed a licensed private club.

Moveable Word Lounge: Spoken word with Kootenay based poets and writers. Local musicians also featured. Ran 5 times, the last Sunday of Every month, at Club Utopia, in Nelson.
